Vice President, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls
Anthony Ramirez joined SparingVision in March 2024 as Vice President of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls).
He oversees the optimization of the manufacturing processes of SparingVision’s lead drug candidates, SPVN06 and SPVN20.
Previously, he was Director of Gene Therapy Process Development at Locanabio, where he spearheaded the development of novel vector technologies aimed at treating genetic diseases. Before Locanabio, Anthony served as, Senior Director of CMC at Adverum, and held leadership roles at 4DMT, Avalanche, Audentes, and Genethon.
Anthony holds a Bacherlors’ Degree from UC San Diego. He is based in San Diego, USA.
