Chief Regulatory and Quality Officer
Dr. Marie Uguen was appointed Chief Regulatory and Quality Officer at SparingVision in March 2024.
She leads regulatory strategy and quality assurance for the development and registration of SparingVision’s gene therapy products.
Previously, Marie served as Chief Regulatory Officer & QA at Lysogene, and spent over 15 years consulting for life sciences companies throughout the development, registration and lifecycle of their products. Marie has extensive experience in interactions with FDA, EMA and national health authorities. She is also a consultant editor for TOPRA (The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs)’s Regulatory Rapporteur.
Marie holds an engineering degree from AgroParisTech (formerly INA-PG, Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon), and a Ph.D in cellular and molecular pharmacology from the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) iat the Paris-Saclay University . Marie is based in France.”
